GI-BMP Instructor Webinars

Instructor webinars are presented the third Thursday of March, June, September and December at 10:00 A.M. These webinars are designed to keep you up-to-date and provide resources to help you in your instructor role. Zoom meeting information will be sent in advance via email to Instructor ListServ.

• December 21, 2023 - Fertilizer rate updates; year-end reports, CEU ID, website help
  Stickers to update rate table in manuals; download updated PowerPoint. Updates to all the module presentations coming next quarter. Instructor Resouces link now on GI-BMP website. Year-end reports; new CEU program ID; new website tutorials & tip sheet for adding classes. Reminders: Check in class that Training Records are complete & signed | please try to avoid cancelling Spanish classes for low numbers.
• June 15, 2023 - New GI-BMP website launch & info + reminders & new audiences
  New GI-BMP website information for Training Providers and Employers. Reminders: July 1 deadline for instructors with pending inactive status | Procedures for certifying instructors; be sure your presenters are certified & active | email co-training evaluations to RC - do not mail to office. Update on new GI-BMP audiences: prisons and high schools - GI-BMP gets National Urban Extension Leaders award for work with correctional facilities.
• March 16, 2023 - New GI-BMP website + general updates & reminders
  Update and demo for new GI-BMP website to launch at the end of May.Tour of new interface For Training Providers is at 11:48-21:52 in recording. Zoom procedure update starts at 18:20. Reminders: As of July 1, 2023, instructors who have not taught a module or attended refresher since July 1, 2022 will change to inactive status. Signed Training Record forms are needed for everyone who attends the class. Completed class materials must be scanned or copied before mailing.

  Including: FDACS Program ID & printing CEU forms, Module 1 updated test instructions; yearly module requirement update: teach a module by 6/30/2023 to keep active status; RC region map; 2022 data reports online; new GI-BMP website coming in 2023.

• February 15, 2022 - General Update
