Training Provider Groups (for adding classes)
In order to add classes to the GI-BMP statewide schedule, you must be a member of a Training Provider group on the GI-BMP Training Site.
- You do NOT need be in a Training Provider group to participate in other providers' classes if you do not host classes yourself.
- You need a log in-account on the GI-BMP training site to use a Training Provider Group. UF employees who have a GatorLink should use that to sign in. Industry, Government and Other Instructors should use a GI-BMP account.
- Every user must have a unique log-in ID. Never use anyone else's log in
- Only Certified Instructors or the GI-BMP State Office can create a Training Provider group, but associates who assist with class administration tasks can be added as members by another member.
How to get a Training Provider group to add classes on the website:
When the new website launched in May 2023, Training Provider groups were created for every organization that had conducted GI-BMP training since 2020.
- If you were already added to a group you will see it listed when you go to the "For Training Providers" tab on the Dashboard.
- If you think your organizaton might have a group already but you don't see it, check with your lead instructor to be added. Or contact the State Office for help.
If your organization DOES NOT have a Training Provider group yet:
- If you are a Certified Instructor you can create the Training Provider group yourself. After you log in, go to the "For Training Providers" tab of the Dashboard and use the Create button.
- Once the Training Provider group is created, anyone with a log in account can be added to a help add or manage classes. Members do not have to be certified instructors.
- Any member can add & manage classes, and add or remove other members.
