Description

Arguably our most spectacular swallowtail. Adults have long hindwing tails and fly low within open woodlands looking for nectar and available host plants. Does not tolerate development and is thus not likely to be encountered in more urbanized areas. Adults have a very short proboscis and are fond of white flowers. | Photos by Jaret Daniels
