Description

Often found alongside the Hackberry Emperor, the Tawny Emperor is more orangish in color. Like those of its relative, the adults do not visit flowers but feed instead on fermenting fruit, animal dung and tree sap. They may also visit carrion. | Photos by Jaret Daniels
