Description

The Phaon Crescent is an abundant butterfly of roadsides, old fields and other open disturbed sites throughout Florida. The adults fly low to the ground and visit a variety of small flowers including those of Turkey Tangle Fogfruit, one of their larval hosts. | Photos by Jaret Daniels
