Description

An often abundant butterfly of open, disturbed sites and wetland margins, the White Peacock can readily be encountered along roadways and canals as well as in parks and yards. The adults have a low, fast flight but regularly land on short vegetation with their wings open. They visit a variety of small, low-growing flowers. | Photos by Jaret Daniels
