Description

A large and showy species, the Silver-spotted Skipper is arguably our most commonly encountered large skipper. Found in a variety of open or semi-open sites, it regularly visits available flowers and can be a frequent garden visitor. The adults have a quick, darting flight but regularly pause at blossoms where they can be easily observed. | Photos by Jaret Daniels
