Description

This somewhat nondescript skipper is common in urban areas, parks and gardens - virtually anywhere Cannas can be found. The semi-transparent larvae make leaf shelters on their hosts by rolling over leaves with silk. The adults have very long probosces and tend to prefer large funnel-shaped flowers. | Photos by Jaret Daniels
