Camellias inspire a devoted following in the southern landscape, where they grow and bloom with minimal care. But there’s more to selecting the right one for your landscape than just buying what’s available from your local garden center.
There is a world of camellia hybrids not generally available in stores that offer a huge range of flower sizes and colors. There are also many options for the size of the mature camellia plants.
And of course, camellias can bloom at various times, so careful selection can give you months of continuous blooms.
