Episode #316 | Original Air Date: May 17, 2021
Pesticides should never be your first response to a pest outbreak, but if you must use them you need to understand the pesticide label.
The information on a pesticide label represents the research and development that a pesticide has undergone before reaching the consumer.
Always read a pesticide product’s label before purchase to ensure it is the product you need. The label also contains directions for proper use that should always be followed.
When mixing a pesticide, follow the label directions so you have the correct pesticide concentration. The label will also tell you the correct application rate and the necessary personal protective equipment.
